Castle Štanjel wedding
Castle Štanjel is definitely one of my favourite wedding locations in Slovenia. The civil ceremony in the beautiful Ferrari gardens, dinner in the castle yard and the old stone houses with their picturesque alleys provide so many possibilities for excellent photos.
Barbara and Žan are such a nice couple. Their wedding contained so many delightful moments, lightheartedness and laughter. It was really enjoyable photographing them
We started with their preparation photos in the idyllic rooms in the old part of the Štanjel. The church wedding happened not far from there. The civil ceremony took place in the Ferrari gardens, with a surprise after the wedding Nina Pušlar sang a couple of songs. With the approach of sunset we began their photo shoot. It is really not hard here to find beautiful spots since the entire location is photogenic.
Dinner began in the castle yard. The decorations were amazing, with many lights, candles and flowers. It was made by Caracreative who also organised the entire event. I also set up the photo booth for the guests to take some fun photos. We ended this wonderful wedding with the cake cutting outside while music played and wedding guests held sparklers.
